Show YV.V.U LOAN AJ'I'J.JCATIONS KYTEXOEI) TO DECEMBER 31 The Farm Credit Administration Administra-tion announced today that the time for receiving applications lor loans for feed for farm livestock live-stock in the secondary drouth areas have been extended to the close of business December 31, 153 4. The cut-oT date was previously set for .September 15, 1 934. The announcement that the feeding loans in the secondary j areas will be extended beyond the time of pasture also states that the notes evidencing such loans hereafter will be drawn to mature November 1, 1935, thus corresponding to maturity date of the feed and forage loans in the primary emergency drouth j areas. The maturity date on feed loans in the secondary drouth areas previously was October 31, 1934. The statement points out that the emergency feed and forage loans in the drouth areas are advanced from appropriated funds through the emergency crop and feed loan offices and are not disbursed through the regular financing institutions under the Farm Credit Administration. The ;eed loans in the primary drouth areas are being made from a part of the $525,000,000 drouth relief appropriation approved June 19, 1934, and the feed loans in the secondary areas from the $40,000,000 crop loan fund approved February 23, 1934. |
