Frank Childers of the Arizona strip underwent an operation for appenditicis and ulcers of the stomach Mjonday at the local hospital. William - Bireu of KariarvaviLLe -and Miss Ella Lowder of Paro-wan Paro-wan were married here Tuesday, January 30, by Judge LeRoy IL Cox. Miss Edith Gates left Monday for Salt Lake City to visit friends for two weeks. She will also visit her brother in Ogden. Born A son to Mr. and Mrs. Reed Blake of Bunkerville on Tuesday, January 30, at their apartment in the Snow hotel building. Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Napper and daughter will leave Friday for Salt Lake City to make their home. They have resided here for the paist two years, Mr. Napper being employed at the Liberty Drug store. S. L. Dixon returned Saturday from Salt Lake City where he spent a week on business. He was accompanied on the return by George Perry. Miss Edith Harris, Mrs. Anne Pace and Mrs. Nelle Erickson entertained en-tertained at a surprise party on Sunday for Mrs. Rose Graham, at the Erickson home. Four tables ta-bles of bridge were played. High ecore prize was won by Mrs. Howard Judd. Dr. Grant Gregerson of Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Ar-nold Thompson and small son of Rolapp, spent the week end here visiting with Mrs. Althea Gregerson, Greg-erson, who ha3 been ill for the past ten days. Mrs. Thompson remained here, but the others returned re-turned to their homes Sunday. Members of the Athena club and their partners were entertained enter-tained Thursday evening at a rook party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph W. McAllister.
