Show BOY SCOUTS MAKE ADVANCEMENTS M;urdell Earl, member of Boy Scout troop 40 3, was awarded a silver Eagle palm, the highest high-est award in scouting, at the examining court of honor held Wednesday. He is the second individual in-dividual in St. George to have reached this high rank, Heber Thompson being the other. Merit badges which he passed pass-ed at the court here were farm layout and building arrangement, farm home and planning, beef production, metal work and art. Other awards made at the court were as follows: Karl Shakespeare Fireman-ship Fireman-ship and first aid to animals. Wilford Cannon Life saving. Wayne Whitehead Animal industry in-dustry and swimming. Anthony Snow iLife saving and masonry. Elmo Englestead Star rank, and merit badges in swimming, poultry keeping, personal health, scholarship and public health. Grant Aliiller AVood carving, chemistry and marksmanship. Charles Pickett Swimming. Roy Condie, Santa Clara troop 406 Pathfinding, cooking, auto-mobiling, auto-mobiling, art, carpentry, safety and Eagle rank.
