Show WASHINGTON WASHINGTON, Aug. 13. -ACrs. Hannah Averett and son, Clinton and wife of Gooding, Idaho, are here : visiting relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Manning Jolley and family of Provo arrived here Sunday for a few days' visit with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Larson are spending some time in St. George. Miss Nina Nisson returned Sunday Sun-day from Fredonia, Arizona, where she has been for some time. Tne many friends of Hyrum Boggs are pleased to see him out again after being confined to his bed for about ten days. Mrs. Vilate Neilson entertained the Les Amies club Thursday afternoon. Word was received Thursday that a daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Joe Judd at Panaca, Nev. Mrs. Judd's mother, Mrs. Esther Neilson, left Thursday to be with her daughter. Woodrow Staheli and Rulon Neilson Neil-son returned Monday from Salt Lake. Leslie Isom spent Sunday here from Hurricane. The Relief Society presidency entertained en-tertained the members at a swimming swim-ming party at the Cascade Tuesday afternoon. After the swim, lunch was served at Hall's grove. A very good time was had. Mrs. Karl Larson of St. George is spending a few weeks here. Mrs. Paula Nisson left Tuesday for northern points to spend a couple of weeks. |
