Show SIX PLANES ARE ADDED TO PICKWICK FLEET LOS ANGELES. Preparatory to inaguration on or about August 1 of the first air mail, passenger and express ex-press service between Los Angeles, Mexico City and Guatemala, Pickwick Pick-wick Airways, Inc., recently announced announc-ed the addition of six new Wright J-6 motored Ryan cabin monoplanes to its fleet. The planes were ordered from the Ryan Aircraft Company of St. Louis, Mo., -builders of Lindbergh's "Spirit of St. Louis." The six new Ryan planes and two Pickwick Fairchilds, the latter now engaged in a route logging expedition expedi-tion to Guatemala, will constitute the nucleus of a fleet of twelve to fifteen planes shortly to be placed in service on Pickwick's Latin American Amer-ican Air Transport Company line between be-tween Los Angeles, Mexico City and Guatemala. |
