Show New ami Important Striken Business Busi-ness Improving and the Boys Happy. Correspondence Tribune.) Silver Reef, Aug. 20, 1877. A big strike is reported on the Bonanza King, situated at the foot of the hill below the town of Silver Sil-ver Reef and between the above named town, and Bonanza City, j It adjoins the Tecumseh, formerly owned by W. T. Barbee. The vein is four feet wide and assays on an average $103. The lucky owners are J. ,'W. Lemon, Robert Shirley and 'Neil Boyle. The Itock Cliff mill runs steadily stead-ily on ore from the Barbee and Walker mines. The Leeds Company continue increasing their 'force. No change ' of note has taken place. The Christy Silver Mining Company, Com-pany, propose to put up a mill of their own. Superintendent Lubback has ' gone to Pioche on that business. The other mines are all doing well, since there is a determination determina-tion on the part of mine owners to develop their claims to the fullest full-est extent. I thought to give you the particulars par-ticulars of a shooting affair, but peace now prevails. The trouble was over the claim heretofore known as the McNally. Improvements are going on in town and times seem to be growing grow-ing better. Everybody expects to be "solid" next spring. |
