Show VIRGIN There are quite a number of outside men in town working for the Clyde Construction Company who have received contracts for bridges and culverts near here. Mr. and Mrs. William Mansor and son Earl are living here at the present time. Mrs. T. Ml Jones has returned to her home at Las Vegas after visiting a week with her husband who is working here. Mr. and Mrs. Evan Lee have moved to their farm up the river for thesummer. Miss Alice Lee and Clyde Seck-enger Seck-enger of Logandale, Nevada, arrived ar-rived here last week for a visit. Miss Lee will spend the summer at home. Clarence Doughterty made a trip to Bryce Canyon to haul oil for the Clyde Construction Co. Mr. and Mrs. W. 'W Toney have left for their home at Spokane, Washington. Mr. Hall and Rodney Ayshire of California who have been i working for the White Throne Oil Company have returned to their homes. Mr. George Allen and son of Los Angeles are here looking after the interests of the company. com-pany. Men from Hurricane, La Ver-kin Ver-kin and Virgin are doing relief work on the Kolob road, improving improv-ing it in the worst places. Miss Ilene Neilson of New Harmony Har-mony is here visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Harold Cornelius. Glen Sterling of Leeds is a visitor vis-itor here in town. The Relief iSociety has sponsored sponsor-ed a contest for attendance the past month. The loosing side gave a party Tuesday. Another contest con-test will be held this month. A large crowd 'from here attended at-tended the program and dance given by the Utah Buckaroos at Hurricane Friday night. |
