Show ROCKVTLLE The marriage of Nellie, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Philetus Jones and Fred Fagergren of Salt Lake City, took place Friday evening ev-ening in the presence of members of the two families. President Bentley of St. George Stake performed per-formed the ceremony. A reception was held later at the home of the bride's parents. The bride was attractively gowned gown-ed in blue with white accessories. The young couple were assisted in teceiv'ing the guests by Mr. and Mrs. Jones and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Fagergren, Sr., Mrs. Earle Lawrence Law-rence was in charge of the gilt room and Mrs. Russell Mahan and Mrs. Alvin Jones presided at the refreshment table. Mr. and Mrs. Fagergren left Sunday for Bryce, where they will spend the summer. Mr. and Mrs. Arch Ballard left last week for the Grand Canyon where Mr. Ballard will resume his work of guide. Lenoir, the ten year old son ol Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Cox was taken to Cedar City, Sunday where he was operated on for appendicitis. Miss Norine Shoppman of Cedar Ce-dar City is visiting at the home of Miss Melba Dalton. Mr. and Mrs. Alton Jones spent Tuesday in Cedar City. Elwood Dennett was a business visitor here from Springdale Tuesday. The Clyde Construction Co., who have been here for some time moved their headquarters to Virgin Vir-gin where they are building new bridges and culverts. Mr. David Timothy who has been visiting here for some time left for New Harmony last Friday. Merlin Kelsey of New Harmony was a visitor here Sunday. |
