Show WASHINGTON Miss Nellie Judd, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Judd and Oren Adams, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Adams of Cedar City were married May 31. The young couple will make their home in Cedar City. Clark Sproul left Sunday for Salt Lake City on business . Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Hall made a trip to New Castle, Sunday. Their two sons Edward and Calvin Cal-vin returned with them after spending the past week visiting relatives. Harold Prisbrey left Tuesday for Pocatello, Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Jolley and Mr. and Mrs. Lee Jolley left Tuesday for their home in South Gate, California. Vilda Jolley accompanied ac-companied them. She will spend an indefinite time visiting relatives rela-tives there. Mrs. Carma Staheli accompanied accompan-ied her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur K. Hafen to the Boulder Dam. The infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Schmutz born June 2 is seriously ill. Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Cooper and 'family are here visiting friends and relatives. Claude Adams has been confined confin-ed to his bed the past few days with rheumatism. Albert Denney is here from Zion park where he has had em ployment. Mr. and Mrs. Lafelle Iverson and daughter Marylin of La Ver-kin Ver-kin visited relatives here, Tuesday. Tues-day. Dixie Adams returned with them. They will leave Thursday for Logan where Mr. Iverson will attend summer school. Mr. and Mrs. John Neilson and family were visitors here (Sunday. Lyle Hannig came home Saturday Sat-urday from Pioche, where he has employment. He returned to his work Sunday, his wife and small daughter accompanied him. A baseball game was played here Sunday between the Indians and our local team. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Prisbrey of New Harmony visited relatives here last week. Mrs. Paul Seegmiller and children child-ren visited relatives here last week. Frank Larson and Ruth Hoops entertained their Sunday School class at a nice cream party Saturday Satur-day evening at the home of Carma Car-ma Averett. The Misses Ada Leuner, Leah Hafen Bernice Iverson and Vilma Neilson left Tuesday evening for Provo where they will visit friends and relatives. Martin Iverson returned home Wednesday from the B. Y. U. at Provo. |
