Show PINTO Pinto, Sept. 4. The home coming here on Aug. 27 and 28 will long, be remembered as a success from start to finish. On the first day there was a fine program followed by a barbecue at which more than 200 people feasted. There was a basketball basket-ball game and at night a picture show and dance . Next day a meeting meet-ing at the grave yard was well attended, at-tended, a fine talk being made by J. W. Thornton. A baseball game was played in the afternoon, and in the evening a picnic was enjoyed at the spring, and a camp fire meeting and dance at night ended the day's festivities. festiv-ities. The committee for the next home coming is: John H. Tullis, Heber E. Harrison, Lillie Knell, Clara Palmer and Sophia Forsyth. |
