Show NEW HARMONY SKIUOrs Al'TO ACCIDENT New Harmony, Sept. 7. A gloom was cast over our entire town when word came from Toquerville yesterday yester-day by telephone that George Schmutz, Pearl and Merle Pace had been seriously injured by their car tipping over with them. A large number of our people immediately left for Toquerville finding George and Merle seriously injured, while Pearl had received some bad bruises but was able to return home with her parents that evening. The others oth-ers were taken to the Iron Co. hospital hospi-tal this morning. Merle is recovering recover-ing as well as she can. but George is still in a critical condition, he being more seriously injured. It is reported repor-ted that his condition is slightly improved im-proved tonight. Their many friends are anxious for their complete recovery recov-ery as all are splendid bright young people. Miss Fern Davis is home for a visit, after spending the summer at Zion Park Lodge. Mr. and Mrs. Win. Prince and Mr. and Mrs. Lee Cox of St. George were here this week. Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Macfarlane of St. George were here this week on business. Mr. and Mrs. Millard Halterman of Enoch were here for fruit Sunday. |
