Show Montana Land Office May Stay Great Falls, Mont. Abolition of the Great Falls land office, supervising the Montana and Idaho districts, may not be carried out. This was indicated indi-cated when James W. Roberts, collector col-lector of customs here, received a telegram tel-egram from L. C. Andrews, in charge of customs and prohibition enforcement enforce-ment in the office of secretary of the treasury, saying that recommendation had been made to suspend indefinitely indefin-itely execution of the presidential order or-der closing the office and abolishing the Montana district. Under the executive exe-cutive order the office was scheduled schedul-ed to be abolished September 17, Montana consolidating with the North Dakota district and Idaho with Washington. |
