Mr. and ' Mrs. Karl Pace are here visiting relatives. They arrived from Salt Lake City Tuesday. Moroni McArthur returned Sunday from Mountain Meadows, where he spent the past month working. Dr. Samuel Bleak returned Monday Mon-day from Salt Lake City, where he spent several days on business. Miss Ruth Walker left this morning morn-ing for Short Creek, Arizona, where she is engaged to teach school. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Judd spent the forepart of the week in Zion canyon can-yon attending the Ashworth reunion. ' Miss Mae Linder returned home Wednesday from Los Angeles, Cal., where she spent the past three months. Born, a daughter to Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Miss Bessie McArthur returned home Sunday form Salt Lake City, where she had been attending summer sum-mer school. A few friends of Miss Emma Seeg-miller Seeg-miller entertained at a shower for her at the home of Mrs. Ann Price Wednesday night. Mrs. John W. Pace and Miss Rose A-shby returned home Wednesday from Salt Lake and Provo where they had been for some time. Miss Mary Graham returned Monday Mon-day from Los Angeles, Cal., where she spent the past three or four months. While there she took a course in ladies' hair dressing. Captain Hardy, a nationally known rifle shot expert, thrilled a number of our citizens last Saturday on the public square by some remarkably accurate and fast rifle shooting. Ted Farnsworth, the St. George-Cedar George-Cedar City mail contractor, has put on two new International speed trucks on the mail route and is mak-escept mak-escept ionaily good time with the mails. A dance and sociable time was had in the gym. Tuesday night in honor of a temple party from Reaver numbering num-bering about 100. A very enjoyable time-was had. Miss LaPerta McGregor came in Monday from Salt Lake City, where she spent the summer. Miss McGregor Mc-Gregor will shortly l ave for Moccasin. Mocca-sin.
