Of the great progressive Spirit which has been her guardian true On the nineteenth of September, there" a treat in store for you. In the quiet of the evening, with the Temple grand and white As a background, you will witness, to your infinite delight, de-light, The development of Dixie from, beginnings poor and small To the present; clearly pictured in a pageant page-ant which you all Will enjoy, old and young, and sad and gay, From this wonderful production you can't afford af-ford to stay. This pageant is in honor of those leaders who so long Have directed Dixie's progress, caught her Spirit, "Carry On," To our Former Stake Presidency, as a tribute will be shown How beneath their watchful guidance, Dixie's prospered and has grown. The pageant will be followed by a sociable gathering in the gymnasium. Both the pageant and the sociable are free to the public. A request has been made that the people be as careful as possible not to injure the flowers, vines, shrubs, etc., on the temple grounds. |
