Ralph Worthen, son of Judge George W. Worthen of Provo, was here for the week end visiting at the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Worthen. Orval Hafen, manager of the Dixie Cooperative Produce Association, Associ-ation, and County Agent Walter F. Smith attended the poultry meeting at Hurricane Monday night. Mrs. Anna Maynard, son Clarence, Clar-ence, and daughters,, the Misses j Eleanor and Katherine Ward, motored mo-tored to Springdale Sunday, spending spend-ing the day in Zion park and Grafton. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Snow and little son Billie arrived Monday from Los Angeles and will spend a day or two visiting Mr. Snow's mother, Mrs. Kattie Snow, and other relatives before continuing on to Salt Lake City for a short vacation. Newman, also of Ogden spent last Thursday here with Mr. and Mrs. David Anderson Ander-son -who are spending a few weeks here for Mr. Anderson's health. The two couples were en route home from an extended trip to Honolulu. Mr. Newman is a brother bro-ther of Mrs. Anderson. Apostle and Mrs. Stephen L. Richards, Mr. and Mrs. I. E. Willie and Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Stewart were in St. George a short time Friday, the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Woodruff W. Cannon. They were returning to Salt Lake City after a several weeks visit 'in Los Angeles. Apostle Richards has traveled trav-eled through "much of Old Mexico and California as a church representative repre-sentative visiting the various branches. |
