Show C. Of C. REORGANIZES AT BANQUETTHURSOAY Newly Elected Board Will Meet Friday to Choose Office For Tear. T ' Forty members of the St. George Chamber of Commerce held their annual business meeting and banquet at the Arrowhead hotel last Thursday evening. Feeling that more would be accomplished the program of reports and elections elec-tions of the board was taken care of immediately after the members assembled at 8 o'clock. President Jos. T. Atkin officiated. The secretary's sec-retary's report for the year was presented by Earl Cannon. The activity report was given by Jos. T. Atkin. A hoard of directors was elected as follows: Ellis J. Pickett, Pick-ett, John Cottam, Orval Hafen, Walter Cannon, Jos. Prince, G. W. Hail, W. B. Mathis and Jos. S. Snow. The banquet was then served with Jos. T. Atkin as toastmas-ter. toastmas-ter. While votes were being coiint- ed, Jos. W. McAllister led the group in community singing. A. L. Theodore Malm, new division superintendent of the Dixie Power Company, reviewed the proposed policy of the power company for the future. Chas. H. Bigelow talked on the St. George-Kingman highway. Jos, S. Snow delivered an address ad-dress on Dixie and Her Possibilities. Possibili-ties. The board of directors will meet tomorrow for organization at which time a president, vice-president and secretary-treasurer will be selected. |
