Show DIXIE COLLEGE The Dixie Junior College dramatic dra-matic club repeated the production produc-tion of "Square Crooks" Saturday evening in the auditorium. Another An-other large crowd was present, and the second cast performed in just as creditable a manner as the first cast did a week previously. prev-iously. This cast also made the presentation pre-sentation in Enterprise Wednesday Wednes-day evening. The two casts will visit all the nearby communities. The following constitute the cast that played here Saturday: Donald Bleak, Sylva Gates, George Whipple, Naomi Ford-ham, Ford-ham, Ann Cannon. Don Bowler. Clyde Casto, Claud Lundquist, Therol McArthur, Florence Judd and Viola Woodbury. Of the twenty-two characters who were selected for the two casts, the measles epidemic per mitted all but two to play in St. George. These were Melva Mathip and Von Cottam. Mrs. Schmutz is to be congratulated con-gratulated on the productions The casts show careful training and the double cast system har made possible a large participation participa-tion before the public. Friday was Enterprise day at the college. The senior class visited the school in mass. They presented the assembly program Friday morning, and were the guests of the school throughout the day. They gave a very splendid program, pro-gram, which was much appreciated apprec-iated by the student body here. They spent the day visiting the plant and the various classes. At noon luncheon was served in the college dining room, and the group attended the basketball game in the evening. The college students from Enterprise acted as hosts. The Enterprise group have expressed ex-pressed their appreciation of the hospitality of their hosts. Miss Clara Woodhou-se's students stu-dents of piano and music appreciation apprec-iation presented ithe assembly program Tuesday morning. A very high class program was given, giv-en, and in a way that the audience aud-ience truly appreciated. Miss Woodhouse is to be congratulated on the progress her piano students stu-dents are making. Wednesday morning Mr. Cox continued his presentation of films on forestry subjects. He will return next Wednesday. The assembly program schedule sched-ule for the near future is as follows: fol-lows: March 1 Debate with the Branch Agricultural College; March 2 Special assembly in honor of the tournament teams; March 6 -English department program; March 9 Extemporaneous Extempor-aneous speaking contest with Snow College. President B. Glen Smith journeyed jour-neyed to Parowan with the high school basketball team Saturday. He did not take good luck, however, how-ever, for the Flyers were downed 37-20. The best Dixie can do now is to take second place; this she hopes to do as the remaining games are on the home floor Kanab will be played here Friday Fri-day afternoon, and Hurricane Monday night, March 5.
