Show LAS VEGAS WOMAN INJURED IN WRECK Mrs. Evelyn Simpson of Las Vegas was treated at the local hospital on Sunday morning for several lacerations received when the huick sedan in which she was riding left the road this side of Santa Clara and went into the borrow-pit. An investigation wa held by Sheriff William Brooks who reports re-ports it as follows: The buick sedan containing A. L. Simpson, 23 of 212 Lewis St., Las Vegas, D. A. Peterson of the Las Vegas Power line and Mrs. Evelyn Simpson and Louise Reed ot 10 69 West 4th Street, Los Angeles An-geles was traveling at a high rate of speed and attempted to pass a Dodge 3-ton Western Produse truck this side of Santa Clara. The truck was driven by B. C. Jecques of Casper, Wyoming, who was in no way responsible for the accident. The car was driven too fast to make the proper prop-er turn around the truck and went into the borrow pit. |
