Word has been received here of the birth of a son to Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Garner at Ogden April 1. Mrs. Gamer was formerly Miss Edith Lemmons. Bernard O. Tco'.e of Duchesne I stopped here for a few hours Saturday Sat-urday en route from St. George to Kanab where he is engineering the construction of a new bridge. Miss Mae Daltcn left Thursday for Cedar City. She will remain there for about two weeks. Mrs. Irving Dalton and daughter, daugh-ter, Dolores, are visiting relatives in Cedar City. Orval Russell is spending a short time visiting his sister, Mrs. Cr- 1 lo Stapley at Cedar City. ! Elwin Ballard, Edwin and Richard Rich-ard BeMille made a business trip to Las Vegas .Tuesday. They returned re-turned Thursday bringing with them Mrs. Richard DeMille and small son, Hal. Lorin Langston spent the week end here. The M men entertained the G-leaner girls at a waffle supper at the home of Afton Ballard last Thursday evening. j Mrs. Paul Worthen and small j children, Kent and Jeanne, spent the week end here. Mr. Wonhen went cn to Zion for the teach- j i ers' outing. Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Jennings have moved into their new home.
