OCR Text	Show SCHOOL FUNDS NET $24.00 PER CAPITA FOR ENTIRE STATE School funds totaling $1,602,536 were apportioned from the office of Dr. C. M. Jensen, state superintendent super-intendent of public instruction, Tuesday. This is the second apportionment apportion-ment made during the school yeiar. The first distribution was made several months ago on a basis of $12.60 per school child. The present pres-ent .apportionment is made on a basis of $10.02 per capita from the district school fund and 86 cents frorm the land interest fund. For the year this is approximately $24 per Capita. The apportionment was made cn a schol population of 147,292. Washington county, with a school population of 2,418, received $24,-228 $24,-228 from the- district school fund and $2679' from' the land interest and rental fund, or a total of $26,307.
