Show NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS State of Utah, Office of State Read Commission, Salt Lake City, Utah, AprU 8, 1931. Sealed bids will be received by the State Road Commission of Utah, State Capitol, Salt Lake City, Utah, at 2 o'clock p. m., Thursday, April 23rd, 1931, and at that time publicly opened for construction of a eteel I-beam bridge with concrete deck and substructure sub-structure in Washington County the same being Federal Land Project No. 5, between Santa Clara and the Arizona state line. The length of bridge to be constructed con-structed is 187 feet 6 inches, end the principal items of work are approximately as follows: Structural excavation 700 cu. yds; concrete, class "A" 362 cu. yds; reinforcing steel 90,000 lbs; structural steel, 88.5 tons. Plans and specifications are on file in the office of the State Road Commission, Salt Lake City, and at District Engineer's office at Cedar Ce-dar City, Utah, where they may be reviewed by prospective bidders. Specifications, proposal, bidding blanks and plans will be furnished furnish-ed at Salt Lake City, on depositing deposit-ing $5.00, which will be returned, providing contractor submits an acceptable bid and returns (the plans within seven days after bids are received. Any additional information infor-mation may be secured at the office of-fice of the State Road Commission. Commis-sion. Each bidder must submit a letter from an approved surety company guaranteeing to furnish said bidder with required bond. The right to reject any or all bids is reserved. Cash or certified check for One Thousand Two Hundred Fifty and no-100 Dollars ($1250.00) made payable to the State Road Commission, Com-mission, must accompany each bid as evidence of good faith and a guarantee that if awarded the contract, the bidder will execute the contract and give bond as required. re-quired.
