Show TOQUERVILLE Our community was certainly shocked and grieved, over the terrible ter-rible disaster that hit the people f St. George through the exJ plosion at the oil well. We extend ex-tend our deepest sympathy to those bereaved. Born, a son, Wednesday, March 13 to Mr. and Mrs. Arch Daniels. Mrs. Arilla Spillsbury was tak- enKto the doctor Saturday. She was in a very critical condition but is reported to be slowly improving. im-proving. Mts. Caroline A. Slack, who has been sick with flu the past week, is improving. Mrs. Adelaide Savage, who has been ill for the past month, is a little improved. Mr. and Mrs. Black and family of La Verkin have moved to our community. Mrs. Sarah Reid is in St. George to stay with her daughter, Mrs. Frances Slack, who has been quite sick. L. H. Bringhurst left Sunday for Los Angeles on business. Mrs. Lillian Williams and children, of Kannara, are visiting here for a few days. Wm. P. Duffin has been put to bed to stay for two weeks on account ac-count of a bad head. Mrs. Elwin Slack is visiting in La Verkin. The Relief Society are going to have a party Saturday night. The committee in charge are: Mrs. Lovina I. Higbee, Rowena W. Slack, Anna Laura' Anderson, Gladys Naegle, Freda Theobald, and Addie Naegle. Mrs. Amelia Slack who has been sick with the flu for the psat week is improving a little. |
