Show PROGRAM FOR WEEK AT THE ELECTRIC In The Big Pond, Maurice Chevalier Che-valier brought a new kind of love to America, but he still has a lot to show as the Playboy of Paris, which will be presented tat the Electric theater tonight, Friday and Saturday. In this picture Chevalier is a waiter by day and a heavy-spending man-about-town by night, comically involved with three women and trying desperately despe-rately to keep them apart. Sunday and Monday, Passion Flower, Kathleen Norris' stirring account of a woman who, failing to find happiness in- her own money mon-ey marriage, attempts to break up the domestic tranquility of her cousin who has thrown wetalth overboard ov-erboard in order to marry her father's chauffeur. The cast includes Kay Francis, Kay Johnson, Chai-les Bickford, Lewis Stone, Zasu Pitts and Dickie Moore. Tuesday and Wednesday, Eddie Quillan .Robert Armstrong, Jlaimes Gleason, Miriam Seegar and Margaret Mar-garet Livingston will be shown in Big Money, and Thursday a Ken Maynard picture, Fighting Through, will be presented. |
