Dr. Francis Campbell and Elmer Erickson attended Masonic lodge sessions in Cedar City Wednesday night. The first degree in Masonry Ma-sonry was conferred upon John Stauffer at the meeting. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Worthen and family, Mrs. Delia " Pearce and Jesse Pearce spent Sunday in New Harmony visiting relatives. Mrs. Jesse Pearce, who has spent the past week there visiting, returned re-turned with them. Goates, Sr., of Lehi, and son Floyd, spent Wednesday here en route home from a trip to Las Vegas and other points in Arizona 'and Nevada. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Miles and son Jerry and daughter, LaVeme, left MIonday for Pocatello after spending the past week here, visiting vis-iting relatives. Walter B. Moorman of San Francisco and Miss Feme H. Weaver Wea-ver of Los Angeles were m;arried at the county court house Tuesday Tues-day toy Bishop F. J. Bowler. Witnesses Wit-nesses were H. T. Mrs. Dean Clark entertained on Saturday afternoon from 3 o'clock until 7 at a five hundred party in honor of Mrs. Hannah Pike and Mrs. Francis Knight of Provo who are visiting here. Five tables were played followed by a two-course luncheon. Prizes were awarded Mrs. Mollie Morris and Mrs. D. C. Watson. Mrs. Mollie Morris, Mrs. Jennie Brown and Mrs. Chas. D. Alsop were co-hostesses at a bridge party Tuesday evening at the home of Mrs. Brown. Five tables were played, followed by a two-course luncheon. Prizes were awarded Mrs. John W. Pace and Mrs. Jos. Lund. A surprise party was given for Vemon Worthen Tuesday evening at his home by the Woodward school faculty. Those on the entertainment en-tertainment committee were Mr. and Mrs. B.
