Show B. A. C. PLAY TO BE PRESENTED HERE Beautiful Costuming One of -the Features of "Monsieur Beaucaire." The B. A. C. dramatic art department de-partment will present the college play, Monsieur Beaucaire, in St. George Saturday, May 2. This .play is written by Booth Tarking-ton, Tarking-ton, a prominent American novelist nov-elist and playwright. Other Tark-ington Tark-ington plays which have been presented pre-sented in St. George are: Clarence, Penrod and Seventeen. St. George audiences were well pleased with all these productions. j The B. A. C. has always put on a high class play and this one should be no exception. Monsieur Beaucaire is coached by Ina N. Hayward, who has had considerable consider-able experience with this type of work. One of the features of the play is the beautiful costuming. The setting is in France during the period of Louis XIV, and the costumes cos-tumes are appropriate. The play is being brought here as an exchange number with the Dixie College, the latter school having produced Skidding at Cedar Ce-dar City last month. Monsieur Beaucaire will be played play-ed at the Wadsworth theater on Saturday beginning at 8:15. The prices will be the same -.as those for the Dixie College play. |
