Show ham high will treat patients at the new Veterans Hospital at Ft. Douglas to an hour of Xmas music mu-sic on December 23 from 6 to 7 p.m. Xmas Vacation Schools in Jordan school district dis-trict which includes Bingham area schools will close for the Xmas holiday season at the end of school Tuesday, Dec. 23. Class-work Class-work will resume Monday, Jan. 5, 1953. BINGHAM HIGH SCHOOL NEWS by Joyce Olsen CANDLELIGHT SERVICE NEXT MONDAY NIGHT Bingham high school's annual Candlelight Service will be given Monday night, Dec. 22 at 8 p.m. in the high school auditorium. The theme is "The Little Hunchback Hunch-back Boy". The program will be presented present-ed as follows: Candlelight ceremony, cere-mony, Janell Hansen, organ; Jeanne Hausknecht, piano; Lowell Low-ell Hicks, vibraphone. Prayer by Father John LaBranche. The choir and seventh grade chorus will sing "The Angels Are Lighting Light-ing Gods Little Candle", with Louis Susaeta, soloist; choir will sing "Holy Art Thou" and "The Bell Song". Girli Club Tea The Girls Club held their Mothers Mo-thers and Daughters Tea last Monday evening in the high school library. The program consisted con-sisted of welcome speech by Yvonne Sarrao, poem by Olga Zampos, solo "Beautiful Savior" by Leila Johnson; story of Holy Night by Colleen Larson, piano solo by Jeanne Hausknecht, vocal vo-cal solo by Joyce Farley; What Xmas Means by Beverly Ray; Xmas play by Lexie Stewart; solo "O 'Holy Night", Ann Hough ton; dance, Margene Lofgran and Mary Lou Ball; Keeping Xmas, Mary Agnes Jacobson; The Way Way You Feel, Matilda Cordova; duet, Joy Seal and Leila Johnson; acknowledgement, Mrs. Johnson.
