There will be no more meetings meet-ings of the iRelief Society until the first Tuesday in January, reported re-ported Mrs. Reid. BINGHAM WARD RELIEF SOCIETY Bingham Ward Relief Society held its literature lesson on Tues day, December 16 under the direction di-rection of Mrs. Rosella Nerdin. It was about Sir Walter Scitt and the two opening songs and closing clos-ing song were Scotch ballads to further carry out the theme of the lesson. Mrs. Blanche Reid, Relief Society president, introduced intro-duced and welcomed a guest, Mrs. Hildegard Kite, a newcomer to Bingham from Germany. Following the lesson, a Christmas Christ-mas program was given with Mrs. Nerdin introducing the num bers. Christmas carols sung by the audience opened the program followed by a retold story "When the Chimes Rang" presented by Mrs. Ada Curtis. A vocal duet was rendered by Mrs. Phoebe Siddoway and Mrs. Mary Raby accompanied by Mrs. Hannah Sanderson. A humorous reading "Dumb Dora's Xmas Shopping" was presented by Mrs. Nerdin followed toy a piano solo arrangement arrange-ment of "Silent Night" played by Mrs. Sanderson and the closing clos-ing song. Mrs. Lily Timothy gave the closing prayer. Singing thru-out thru-out the program was led by Mrs. Edith Martineau accompanied by Mrs. Esther James at the piano. After the program Christmas punch and fruit cake with candy canes were served on individual' |
