All persons applying for a restricted big game permit must possess a valid big game license or purchase one at the time they apply in person, so the license number may be included on the application ap-plication form. The application form is not used for purchasing big game licenses, open area bull elk permits, elk archery permits, per-mits, deer archery permits or deer muzzle-loader permits. However, persons per-sons applying for a restricted area elk permit may indicate on their application applica-tion that an open bull elk permit should be sent to them if they are not successful suc-cessful in drawing a restricted permit. Open area bull elk permits and archery ar-chery elk permits may be purchased from any office of the Division of Wildlife Resources of the Utah Department Depart-ment of Natural Resources and Energy from July 1 through Aug. 6. Each permits per-mits is $30 for residents and $100 for nonresidents. Deer archery permits may be purchased from license agents and Wildlife Resources offices from July Ju-ly 15 through the end of the year archery ar-chery season, Sept. 6. Deer muzzle-loader muzzle-loader permits may be purchased at Wildlife Resources offices only from Sept. 1 through Oct. 22, the day prior to the opening of the general deer season. Deer archery and deer muzzle-loader permits are $10 for residents and nonresidents. A big game license is required re-quired to purchase an archery elk, open area bull, deer archery or deer muzzle-loader muzzle-loader permit. 1 |
