Show CNapl,. Jo Openshow Phone 789-3157 Harrison reunion held in Bountiful The Heber Harrison family had a family reunion recently in Bountiful. Hay and Dorothy Jones and family of Phoenix, Arizona, Randy and Verda Wilkinson and family of Yakima, Wash., Bishop and Mrs. Val Harrison and family of Salt Lake City, Gerald and Linda Harrison and family of Bountiful and their parents, Heber and Vera Harrison attended. It was the first time in seven years they had all been together. Charles and Hazel Olsen went to Lehi on business Monday. Attending the wedding of Christa Foster and David J. Hansen in the Manti LDS Temple Wednesday, July 8, were Bishop and Mrs. Lawrence C. Kay and Norman and Donna Merrell. A reception was held in the Naples Cultural Hall Friday evening for the newlyweds. Robert and Donna Foster visited a week with Norman and Donna Merrell and friends in Naples Ward. The Fosters are former members of Naples 1st Ward. Sherrell and Ruby Johnson of Salt l,ake City visited the Linus Openshaws and Glenn Openshaws Saturday. The Jerome Goodrich family reunion was held July 3 and 4 at Oak Grove near Leeds. Eighty-one of a possible 91 attended. at-tended. Ray and Vergie Gee drove to Provo and their daughter Leri Dawn Smith and son Adam accompanied them to the Goodrich reunion. Heber and Vera Harrison returned Friday from a weeks visit with the Randy Wilkinson family in Yakima, Washington. Reed Merrell drove to St. George where his wife Roby n and children, who have been visiting in Las Vegas, met him and attended the Goodrich reunion. Rodney Cook graduated from USU. He and his wife and daughter have moved to Naples 1st Ward. Val and LaWanna Ross and family of Red Bluff, California came for their high school class reunion and are visiting their mother Elva Manwaring. Also visiting Mrs. Manwaring and her family are Mr. and Mrs. Glendon Manwaring and family of Seattle, Washington. Charles and Hazel Olsen accompanied ac-companied by Brenda Olsen and sons and Jason Olsen went to Provo Saturday to meet a bus load from Houston Stake who came to attend Youth Conference at BYU. The Olsen's granddaughter Jael came from Baytown. Texas to visit for three weeks. Dee and Mary Manwaring of Provo were here on business last week. Lloyd and Oris Pope of Provo came for their class reunion Saturday and were overnight guests of Shirley and Afton Price. They visited friends in Naples 1st Ward Sunday. Amy Pringle of Salt Lake City was a weekend visitor at the Dennis J. Atkinson home. Mrs. Pringle is Sherrie Atkinson's mother. Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Harrison accompanied ac-companied by Leo, Jennie and Dawn spent several days in La Jara, Colorado visiting Mr. and Mrs. Sam Mayfield and Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Mayfield and in Sanford, Colorado they visited Mr. and Mrs. Everett Crowther and their families. Kay Baker of USU and Arlynn Baker of Weber College spent the weekend with their parents Arnold and Vena Baker and family. Brett, who had spent a week with Kay in Logan, returned with them. Kermit and Yvonne Harrison visited Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Lyons in Green River. Wyoming last week. John Goodrich reported his LDS mission Sunday in Naples 2nd Ward. His parents, Lowe and Rhea Goodrich, were here from Oakley, Idaho and his grandmother, Mrs. Louis Roberts from Pleasant Valley. Mr. and Vrs Rodney Simm and children of Salt Li.ke City accompanied by Sherrie Rov,, I.uly Rutierrez and Laurie Ross, students of BYU, visited during the weekend with Elva Manwaring. Man-waring. John hi icy df Sail Lflke City was at Phillip Manwarings Sunday. Garth and ton Ross and daughter of Sparks, Nevada visited Carl and Marvel Gardiner during the weekend. Mrs. Ross is the Gardiner's daughter. Colombine Wills of Valdez, Alaska came Sunday to visit a week with VAva Manwaring and family. Also visiting the Manwarings Sunday were Mr. and Mrs Rowley Wills of Colorado. Merton and Mary Jean Robb and Keith and Linda Murray went to the Salt Palace in Salt Iike City Monday evening to attend the Don Williams show. |
