Show Burkett buried in Maeser cemetery Judy Lucille Burkett, 37, died in an automobile accident July 6, 1981. Born April 12, 1944 in Garwood, Texas she was the daughter of E. p. and Beatrice Arnold McCollum. She married William M. Burkett Jan. 6 1978 in Elko, Nev. She was a member of the Catholic Church. Funeral services were Friday, July 9, in the Vernal Mortuary. Father John Kokal conducted. "The Rose" was sung bv Valaska Francke, accompanied by Eva Hatch. Father Kokal rendered some remarks. A musical was performed per-formed by Melinda Sketo and Judy Long Burial was in the Maeser Fairview Cemetery. Pallbearers were Bill Burkett, Michael Layman, Tom Hunting, David Sketo, David Burns and Wayne Burkett. Survivors are husband of Vernal; four children, John and David Puryean, Sharon Price of Vernal, and Michael Layman of Vernal; five step-children, Brian, Cindy, Jay, Wayne and John; brothers and sisters, Clifford McCollum, Mc-Collum, Donald McCollum, Robert McCollum, Calvin McCollum, Mike McCollum, Mrs. Josie Martini and Mrs. Marie Eaktins. i Yance have returned to their home in Henefer. Mrs. Fawcett left Saturday after visiting with her mother and sisters Blanch Smith, Gail Jenkins and Maralea Beckstead. She was accompanied ac-companied by a niece, Delene Jenkins, for a short visit. Mr. and Mrs. Dee Caldwell of Riverside, California have been visiting with the Bob Caldwells and Art and Eula Stone. The Calduells flew to Vernal to bring their granddaughters home after a visit with them. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn McConkie went to Salt Lake City to be with their son Larry for his surgery Monday, July 13. Margaret Thomas and children spent a few days in Richfield visiting her sister and family the Charles and Geraldine McConkie family Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Perry and children attended the Alferd D Morrell family reunion. There were 85 in attendance at-tendance from Jensen. Salt I-ake City, Tabiona and Rore-.evclt. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Nancy i Ssmotis and son have moved to Naples where they have a new home in the Man-waring Man-waring Subdivision. DeNile .in.! Shirley Si:n.::i hae moved into their new home |
