Show Manila Clara Robinson Phone 784-5333 Ambulance for jj Daggett County Manila City and Daggett County recently obtained a new ambulance. It is a 4-wheel drive Ford Van, capable of transporting four victims. This ambulance am-bulance replaces a 1971 Cadillac station wagon. The ambulance was funded by the following agencies as follows: $2,500, city of Manila; $2,500, Daggett County; $10,000, Emergency Medical Service of Utah; $13,758, Energy Impact Board Grant; and $900, private donations. The total is $29,658. The Daggett County Commissioners would like to thank the city and county taxpayers. A special thanks to the Manila Mayor and council for their help and support with this very important city-county project. Thanks, also for the private donations from persons inside and outside the county stated Jerry N. Taylor, Daggett County Commissioner. Manila LDS Church members will be participating in a "Garden Fair" sponsored by the Green River stake in Green River, Wyo., on Aug. 28. Some ofThe Manila people attended the "Woodtick Reunion" held at Pine Grove near McKinnon, Wyo. , on Aug. 14 and 15. The Manila Relief Society will sponsor a doughnut sale at the cultural hall on Aug. 29. They will also sponsor a breakfast. Mrs. Duane Karren of Salt Lake City, her daughter, and a group of MIA girls stopped briefly in Manila on Saturday before going home from a river trip. .
