Show Tammy Thomas returns from 10 day tour Tammy Thomas recently returned from a 10-day vacation. She flew from Salt Lake City to New Orleans where she enjoyed a tour of New Orleans and a river trip up the Mississippi River. She then left on a Caribbean cruise aboard the M.V. Odessa, a Russian cruise ship. Included in the cruise were a tour of Play del Carman and Cozumel, Mexico. She enjoyed a snorkling expedition off the coast of Cozumel, a night at Morgans Disco and a tour by car of the island of Cozumel. Her last port of call was Havana, Cuba. There she went on a tour of the city. The day ended with a night at the Old Hilton Hotel which included a night of Cuban entertainment. Special activities aboard ship included in-cluded Russian dancing, Russian language lessons, Balalaika lessons (a Russian string instrument), disco dancing, bingo, wooden horse racing, poolside activities, the Captain's Ball and Russian entertainment presented by the crew members. Accompanying Tammy on her cruise were her grandmother, Verda Morde, people from the Provo area and the Deseret Travel Agency. |
