Show BASIN SHRINE CLUB NEWS The Uintah Basin Shrine Club met Friday, June 27, at the Lamplighter Cafe, B.J. Welch, vice president, presiding. It was reported that a total of seven pigs had been purchased, processed, process-ed, and transported to the Intermountain Unit of the Shriner's Hospitals, Salt -Lake City. . . Reports were . also given on the progress 'of ' the helipad at the-new hospital, and the children being sponsored by the ' Club at the hospital in Salt Lake City. Members were reminded that any child with an orthopedic problem may be eligible for admittance to the hospital. Plans for the forthcoming forthcom-ing bar-b-que fo be held August 24 were discussed and committee assignments made. Final plans will be made at the July meeting. |
