Show SERVICES HELD FOR MRS. FREDJOHNSON Funeral services were conducted conduc-ted Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Bingham Community Methodist church for Mrs. Betty Gustavson Johnson, 78, of 279 Main, Bing- nam. Rev. Eric N. Hawkins of the Zion Lutheran Church of Salt Lake City officiated. Mrs. Johnson passed away Saturday at 2:20 p.m. in a Salt Lake hospital after a extended illness. She was born May 27, 1873, in Finland. She came to the United States at the age of 19, residing first in Salt Lake City. She was married to Fred A. Johnson in 1893 In Salt Lake City. He died in 1915. The couple first made their home in Park City where Mr. Johnson was engaged in mining. Two years later they moved to Bingham where she had lived since. She was a member of the Swedish Lutheran church. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Hilda Evans, Los Angeles, Calif.; three sons, Arthur, Leonard Leon-ard and Gunnard Johnson, all of Bingham, 21 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Interment was in Bingham cemetery under direction of the Bingham Mortuary. rs |
