Show RECREATION CENTER ACTIVITIES by Delmar Schick, Mike Zdunich Last week we completed the regular season of basketball at the Civic Center and which we are glad to say was a very big success. BDAA, better known as the Cougars, went through the season undefeated. In the Junior league, Spuds Gang, after being pushed all the way by the Copperton Hawks, came out on top fter losing only one game all season and that one to the Hawks. In the PeeWee league it was a very close race between the Princess Midgets and the Seagulls. Sea-gulls. The next meeting of these two teams will decide the winner. win-ner. We would like to congratulate these teams and say well done to all the kids that participated in the past season. This week we started the single sing-le elimination tournament with all the teams of the Senior, Junior Jun-ior and PeeWee leagues playing in the tournament. The teams that take first place in their respective re-spective leagues will all receive gold medals and the winners of the tournament will receive trophies. tro-phies. We are also having a foul pitching tournament and' the two winners will receive a trophy. tro-phy. We would like to thank the Bingham Lions Club for buying all of the medals and trophies. Wednesday, April 2, will be the finals for the tournament and we would like to see all the people peo-ple that can possible make it, come and see the boys in action. You will see basketball at its best for kids of their age.
