Show A. W. WATSON SERVICES TODAY AT2:00 P.M. Funeral services for Albert William Watson, 63, 119 W. Park, Copperton, supervisory plant accountant, ac-countant, Utah Copper Division, Kennecott Copper Corp., will be conducted today, Friday, at 2:00 p.m. in the Copperton ward chapel, cha-pel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints by Bishop Rex B. Garrett. Mrs Watson died Tuesday at 7:10 a.m. at his residence, where he was fatally stricken with a coronary occlusion as he was preparing to go to work. He was first employed by the corporation in 1908 as a payroll clerk and rose to chief mine accountant. ac-countant. On Jan. 1, 1952 he was appointed supervisory plant accountant ac-countant and placed in charge of all accounting of the firm's mines, min-es, mills and refinery and for Garfield Water Improvement Co. a Kennecott subsidiary. He was born June 29, 1888, in Chicago, 111., a son of Mr. and Mrs. William Watson. When he was three years old the family moved to Ogden. On Jan. 18, 1934, he married Ethel Watkins in Beaver, Beaver county. They came to Copperton 20 years ago. Mr. Watson was a veteran of World War I, serving in France in the Quartermaster Corps. Ie was a member of the Bingham Post of the American Legion. Surviving are his widow; two sons, Richard and Thomas Watson, Wat-son, Copperton; two brothers, L. L. Watson, Copperton, and Clay Watson, Ventura, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. K. B. (Gertrude) Campbell and Mrs. Alfred (Ann) Larson, both of Ogden, and Leila Watson, Reno, Nev. -.,.. Friends ' may call at 450 Main, Bingham, until time of services. Interment will be in Salt Lake City cemetery under direction of Bingham Mortuary. |
