They were honored at an open house in Vernal and a reception in Juneau, Alaska. LDS Temple wedding unites Lowry- Wallis Tamara Jean Lowry became the bride of Steven R. Wallis August 22 in a double ring ceremony performed by David C. Houston in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Among guests attending were the couples parents: Mr. and Mrs. Fred L. Lowry, Juneau, Alaska; and Mr. and Mrs. Jack R. Wallis, Vernal. Other guests were from Pocatello and Boise, Idaho; Snowflake, Arizona, Salt Lake City and Vernal. A wedding breakfast was hosted by the groom's parents in the President's Room at the Hotel Utah. A reception honored the couple in Juneau on August 31st. An open house was held August 22 in Vernal. For the wedding, reception and open house the bride wore a long white knit gown with , an empire waistline. The bodice was fashioned with a mandarin collar and long sleeves and decorated with lace inserts. Attached at the shoulders was a floor-length train. She wore a waist-length veil fastened to a lace neaapiece. tier Douquei was oi pink and lavender roses. Attendents to the bride at the open house were her sister, Tonya L. Hunt; the groom's sister, Cindy Wallis; Rebecca L. Dutra, Provo; and Debra Jean Glenon, Drummond, Montana. Two wore sheer pink print midi-length dresses and the other two wore matching mat-ching lavender dresses. Each carried a pink rose tied with lavender and pink bows. The bride's mother was dressed in a lavender, floral print with a pink rose corsage. The groom's mother chose a pink dress and wore a matching rose corsage. Bestmen were David L. Wallis and James Neil Wallis, brothers of the , groom. The groom, fathers and best-men best-men wore grey tuxedos with lavender boutonnieres. Greeters were grandparents of the groom, Mr. and Mrs. William B. Wallis. Norma Warner was at the guest book. Serving were Dana Day, Tina Lawton and Becky Bridges. Helping with the gifts were Brian Wallis, Tonia and Joseph Day.-At the gift table was Catharine Day. Mrs. Lorry Rytting, Mrs. LeGrand Winegar and Kristin Winegar were al the punch bowl. In the kitchen were Mrs. Barney Sessions, Mrs. Lyle Anderson, An-derson, Mrs. Sheldon Galley and Mrs. Aldon Maxfield. The hall was decorated in the bride's colors of lavender and pink featuring a three tiered pink and lavender cake made by Donna Merrill.
