R brother of the bride sang Whither Thou He was accompanied by Diane Morrill Loye Ann AnnI I Manwaring sister of the groom sang Evergreen She was accompanied by Shanna Hadlock Brent gave the prayer A reception was held immediately immediately im Im- 1 mediately after the ceremony at the Ashley Stake Center The brides bride's gown was of old- old fashioned slipper satin in a candlelight shade It was j fashioned with an empire waist and a long skirt which wl was bordered with lace and andL flowed gently into a long I L graceful train The fitted empire empire empire em em- pire bodice was of sheer illusion outlined with lace as were thelong the thelong thelong long sleeves They were decorated with lace Her waist-length waist veil of bridal illusion was trimmed with lace matching that on her dress and was attached to a Camelot cap which was decorated with tiny seed sred pearls and satin pleats She carried a cascading bouquet t of yellow rose buds and white chrysanthemums accented accented accented ac ac- ac- ac with green ribbons MATRON OF m was Karen Hatch and other attendants attendants attendants at at- were Robyn Merkley Patti Hara Mara Caye Hall and Loye Ann Manwaring The matron of honor wore a burnt orange long dress of quiana with a scooped neckline and butterfly sleeves It was accented with beige lace at the empire waistline The bridesmaids wore dresses of similar design in rust quiana with a scooped neckline and butterfly sleeves It was accented accented accented ac ac- ac- ac with beige lace at the empire waistline The bridesmaids wore dresses of similar design in rust qui quiana na and the tiny flower girls Kelli Pedersen and Marci Marc nieces of the bride wore identical dresses of beige with n ruffled fled lace around the bodice They carried miniature baskets of flowers and the bridal at at- carried nosegays Inthe Inthe in inthe the brides bride's colors o of burnt orange and yellow chrysanthemums chrysanthemums chrysanthemums chrysan chrysan- with dried arrangements o of brown and rust for or accent Mothers o of both the bride and groom wore floor length dresses in a rust shade and wrist corsages corsages cor cor- sages o of y yellow lIow roses and chrysanthemums Best man was Rick Martinsen with Rory Hatch Michael Keele Daryl Wade Mecham and Bart Mecham ushers mhers They were all attired in beige tuxedos as were the fathers o of the couple All wore yellow boutonnieres The groom wore a dark brown tuxedo with velvet trim The bride and groom stood before a backdrop o of Grecian pillars intertwined with greenery Large baskets o of chrysanthemums on tall pedestals were placed at each end o of the receiving line The room was tastefully decorated in the brides bride's fall all colors The serving tables were covered with yellow cloths and small baskets of flowers in yellow rust and orange hues BRENT AND CAROLYN greeted guests at the thedoor door Janet Pedersen was at the guest register Ryan Wright Dustin Wright and Rodney nephews s of the bride were gift bearers Gerry Wright Virginia Adams Lylis Anderson Raema Hatch and Kathy Reynolds assisted at the gift table Vee Taylor poured Janell and Janae Martin Camille Anderton and Vicki Simper served Throughout the evening Diane Morrill played piano music and Loye Ann Manwaring Manwaring Manwaring Man- Man waring sang You Light Up My Life The tiered wedding cake consisted of a base of seven rounds decorated in an off off- white shade Between each round was a wedding bell in off off- white centered with a burnt orange rose The cake tiers were separated by tall pillars and burnt orange roses cascaded from each tier 1 I Delicate adorned each tier er Sand and the top was centered wedding bells and nd tied with a ribbon of net Tiny butterflies also adorned each tier The cake was made m de by Donna Merrill SPECIAL town out-of-town guests were from Provo Orem Salt Lake City and Wyoming and Colorado Pre nuptial parties for the bride were given by Mrs Phil Carolyn Ellis assisted by Mrs Glen H. H Birdie Iorg lorg and by Mrs Bonnie and Mrs Wayne Robyn Merkley held a bridal luncheon at the Skillet in Vernal For their wedding trip to Hawaii the bride chose a rust colored three-piece three pant suit The couple will make their home in Salt Lake City |
