A delightful get-together was enjoyed Wednesday evening at the home of Mrs. Irene Wendel of Granger by Mrs. Lila Dahl-strom, Dahl-strom, Mrs. Ruth Johnson, Mrs. Lela Bledsoe, Miss Wanda Orr and Mrs. Freda Caulfield. Lorraine Tobiason, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tory E. Tobiason, has received her commission of second lieutenant as a flight nurse in the U. S. Army Air Corps. She reports to Montgomery, Montgom-ery, Alabama July 29th. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Cheever returned Wednesday, June 18th from a delightful vacation trip to California. Mr. and Mrs. John Christensen of Logan have spent the past few days visiting with Mr. and Mrs. David O. Stoker and family and with their daughter, Jo, who is visiting at the Stoker home. A lovely Sunday afternoon was spent at the home of Mr. and Mrs Albert Cheever by Mr. and Mrs. Jay Cheever and sons of Granger and Mr. and Mrs. Allan Peterson and son of Salt Lake City. There was a wonderful turnout at the LDS sacrament meeting on Sunday evening, June 22. Speaker was Mrs. Ora Pete Ste- Mr. and Mrs. H. R. Gust last Sunday. Mrs. William Motis and daughter, dau-ghter, Jeanne Louise, and Mrs. Jerry Williams, enroute to their home in Pioche, Nev., from Weis-er, Weis-er, Idaho, where Mrs. Motis attended at-tended a family reunion, were house guests several days the first of this week of Mr. and Mrs H. R. Gust. They also visited with Mr. and Mrs. John Motis and family and other relatives. Mrs. Pete Smith and Mrs. Norman Nor-man Jacobsen returned last week end from New York where they met Mr. Smith's sister, who arrived ar-rived from England on the "Brittanie" for an indefinite vacation va-cation here. While in New York they also visited several points of interest. Mr. and Mrs. George W. Dahl-strom Dahl-strom entertained last Saturday night at their home at a lovely family dinner party. Present were Mrs. Dahlstrom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. August Lehman of Murray, and her sisters and brother, bro-ther, Mrs. Herman Barthule of San Jose, Calif., Mrs. M. J. Bump and daughter , Martha, of Des Moines, Iowa, Mrs. Marie Lang-ton Lang-ton and son Donald of Empire, Calif., Mrs. William Bledsoe and 1 mond, Johnny Jenkins and Kenny Ken-ny Moore. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Davis and sons, Kenny and Tommy, of Midvale enjoyed dinner Wednesday Wednes-day evening with Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Fike and family. Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Pickering Picker-ing Jr. of San Francisco, Calif., are here visiting with their parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Pickering Pick-ering Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. T. L. Houghton. Bob Bandelier of Salt Lake City was a dinner guest of Don Gust at the noma of his parents, of Garfield, 1 David Dellagnola, Ronnie and Donnie Markovich, Johnny Jenkins, Terry Redmond, Stephen Kelly and Kenny Moore. Tanny Melich of Moab enjoyed enjoy-ed visiting in Copperton Saturday Satur-day and Sunday with Patty Redmond. Red-mond. A lovely birthday party was given Saturday afternoon in honor hon-or of Jimmy McCormick on his eighth birthday anniversary by his mother, Marietta McCormick.
