Show HUCK FINN DAYS WILL BEJULY 7-8 The annual Huck Finn Days sponsored by the Salt Lake County Coun-ty Recreation Department will be held in the Murray City Park on July 7th and 8th. The large crowd of youngsters participating participat-ing in this annual event has made it necessary to carry on the traditional tra-ditional fishing for two days. On July 7th the affair will be for boys and girls from 4 years to 8 years inclusive, July 8th will be for boys and girls from 9 years "to 12 years inclusive. The affair will begin at 10:00 a.m. and close at 12:00 noon. The State Fish and Game Commission Com-mission has promised a heavy plant of trout in the screened off section of the Little Cottonwood stream. According to Paul S. Rose, recreation re-creation superintendent, the usual us-ual prizes for the best Htick Finn costume, the first fish caught, the largest fish caught, will again be awarded. Verl Meyrick, area leader for the Murray area, for the Salt1 , Lake County Recreation Department Depart-ment will be in charge of the two day event. |
