Show COUPLE NOTES GOLDEN DATE Mr. and Mrs. Johnllobertson, residents of Bingham Canyon for forty-seven years, marked their 50th wedding inniversary quietly quiet-ly at their home Wednesday at 1627 Zenith Avenue, Salt Lake City. The couple were married June 18, 1902 in Ogden, by the late Rev. John Edward Carver of the Presbyterian church. Mr. Robert- son was born in Forres, Morayshire, Moray-shire, Scotland, a son of George and Janet Anderson Robertson. He came to the United States at the age of 18, and served his apprenticeship as a cabinet maker ma-ker in Scotland. He has been an employee of the Utah Copper Division of Kennecott Copper Corporation for the the past twenty-eight years. Mrs. Robertson Robert-son was born in Carson City, Nev., a daughter of Richard David Da-vid and Marinda Luella Sydes. Honoring the couple on their golden anniversary were their son, A. Mavor Robertson of Downey, Calif., and Mrs. V. E. Christensen, Salt Lake City. There are nine grandchildren. |
