Show HEALTH NEWS According to the weekly bulletin bul-letin of the state department of health, a total of 217 new cases of communicable diseases were reported for the week ending June 20th as compared with 209 for the previous week and 252 for the corresponding week last year. Measles continued to lead the list with a total of 125 new cases. cas-es. Strep infections came second with 27 and chicken pox was third with 24 cases. The following is a list of all diseases for the week: cancer, 8; chicken pox, 24; gonorrhea, 1; measles, 125; German measles, 2; mumps, 13; strep infections, 27; syphilis, 4; tuberculosis, 11; influenza, in-fluenza, 1; gastro-enteritis, 1; malaria fever, 1 (contracted outside out-side cont'l U.
