Show FROM THE "TRIB." The following thing appears in the ring organ at Salt Lake. The people of Cache Stake will receive it as a high compliment. The Cache Valley Mormon Temple is drawing near completion. Cache Stake has contributed $200,000 to its building. The total assessed valuation of Cache county is a million and a half. It gives thirteen and a third per cent of its whole worth to this one temple. The same issue of the same paper has the following. A gang of Mormon roughs assaulted a police officer in Logan one night last week, with a deadly weapon, snapping a revolver at him. If there were "‘Mormon' roughs" we wonder where you will go to find your typical "Liberals!" They were not "Mormons," but recent "Liberal" arrivals in our quiet town. |
