Show Dry Gulch Cos Election The Dry Gulch Irrigation company's election held at Roosevelt Tuesday was splendidly splen-didly attended by the stockholders stock-holders of the companv. While a great many are out of the country the majority of them had sent in their proxies and about 80,000 shares of stock! were voted. I It -was interesting and exciting excit-ing from start to finish and thej competition for places on the board was keen thn ughoutthei election and surprises iu the choice of officers the order of the day. The final result was" as follows: fol-lows: Owen Bennion, president; presi-dent; E. C Heller, vice-president; and Wm. Co we, N. C. Wilson, Chas. Milligan, R. Horiocks, E. Lambert, directors; direct-ors; Jos. Hardy, treasurer. The south district stockholders went down the line with filing col- ors and the new. board will be composed of , four out of the seven members from this side, as follows: Lambert, 2Cowe, Wilson and Milligan. While spirited throughout the contest, the best of feeling prevailed, and everyone was good natured over the outcome. The holdover officers are Bennion, president, and Hardy, treasurer, both of whom were elected by large majorities. The office of secretary is appointive. ap-pointive. There seems, however, how-ever, to be no doubt but that J. E. Strain will succeed himself him-self to this position. |
