I THE BASSETT SCHOOL FOR STAMMERERS. t r After a resume of the commercial and industrial establishments of Pro-vo, Pro-vo, wc wish before closing to mention men-tion one very excellent institution and a boon to suffering humanity, The Bassett School for Stammerers. Located at No. 237 East Center Street, and having been established but a short time, there are already enrolled from this and adjoining states, quite a number of pupils, and many have already been discharged as cured. Some of the cures effected by the Bassett method are truly marvelous, the writer personally knowing of one case in which the student, upon entering en-tering the institution, was unable to utter an audible sound, but after three weeks' course, was able to recite re-cite painly arid without any flaw whatever in his speech, numerous verses committed to memory, and answer questions in a plain and satis- H factory manner. H Mr. Bassett has such abiding faith H in his system that he asks no rccom- H pense whatever until a cure is effect- H cd. He is daily receiving letters of H inquiry from all over the country, H and it will be but- a matter of a H short time until he will have to cstab- H lish himself in more extensive quar- H The present quarters offer to the H pupil the most pleasant and comfort- H able surroundings; the building bting H a large two-story brick, surrounded H by beautifully kept grounds and com- H manding an excellent view of the H nearby mountains. H Of a patient, kind and sympathetic H nature, Mr. Bassett is endowed with all the attributes necessary to the H care and management of an institu- H tion of this kind, and judging from re- H suits already attained it is safe to H say that this enterprise will be re- H warded with an extensive patronage H and a prosperous future.
