Show PIERCE GREAT ARROW FOR igo8. For 1908 the Geo. N. Pierce Co. will still continue their regular four cylinder cyl-inder forty-five Horse Power and six cylinder sixty-five Horse Power Models Mod-els and will also build a six cyliuded forty Horse Power car. This car will have a 130-inch wheel base and have seating capacity of seven persons, the cylinders are four and one-quaiter by four and three-quarters inches and this forty Horse Power engine under a load shows fifteen per cent more power than the four cylinder forty five Horse Power. Two of these cars have just completed the Gliddcn Tour with perfect scores as also did one of the sixty-five II. P. cars and a forty-five IE. P. This makes hrcc year in fact every year the Glidden Tour has been run that the Pierce cars have won the tropry, which is on exhibition at the Pierce Co's store in Buffalo. Tom Bottcrill the local agent for the Pierce have just received word that their first forty Horse Power six cylinder car will be in Salt Lake the latter part of November and the sixty-five II. P. six cylinder will be here the first part of November. For Salt Lake City and surrounding country coun-try the Pierce Company have allotted twelve cars and as four of these arc already sold, the Pierce will as in .former .for-mer years be bringing a premium in this section. The cars are allotted to come through in certain months and Mr. Bottcrill is now taking orders for deliveries 6n these cars for 1908 deliveries. , Deliveries tlys coming year will be guaranteed and as the immense new factory of the Pierce Co. is now all fully working the cars will come through to the day when they are promised. 1 During the past year Pierce cars i have been sold to the following ;ico-ple ;ico-ple in Salt Lake City. For 190S the N Pope Hartford will be changed con- W siderable, comfort is the thing that II will be brought forward more than I any other feature, the car will have 112-inch wheel base, thirty-four inch B wheels and a larger tonncau and I spring suspension. The motor will not be changed as the hill climbing S contests all over the country proved m without doubt that the Hartford was m easily the fastest hill climber made in America.
