Two teams from Grand Junction, plus Fruiia High School, a game played at Fruita, and Palisade, Pali-sade, also a home game will be played during the season. The list of other home games include Payson, Emery and Union for the Canyonlands Classic, Monticello, East Carbon, Green River, Duchesne, and San Juan. The Red Devils are tabbed as the team to beat in Region 10 this year and should repeat as winner to represent the Region in the State Tournament. As of this time, no schedule has been released as to the games for the post-season play. $ The football season is finally over in Moab with the culmination of games played by the Little League last Saturday. Those persons participating in making arrangements, ar-rangements, scheduled games and finding places for the visitors to stay should be complimented. The games went off without too much problem. The weather was good and no serious injuries were sustained by players. Some problems did arise, however, with the result being that future negotiations will have to be more complete. Lack of communications and failure of some one to find out the playing regulations regu-lations in reference to size, age, etc, of the visiting visi-ting groups caused a few persons to become concerned. |
