Eastern Star Installs Officers In Ceremonies Here Sunday Installation of officers for the coming year was held by Valiant Chapter 21, Order of the Eastern Star, Sunday at the Masonic Ma-sonic Temple. Retiring Worthy Matron Ma-tron Betty Engstrom passed her gavel to the installing officers, Marion Mar-ion and Ivy Gates, Es-tancia, Es-tancia, N.M., the parents of incoming Worthy Matron Ma-tron Fran G. Townsend. With the assistance of Installing Marshall Ma-xine Ma-xine S. Boyd, Past Grand . Matron; Installing Chaplain Cha-plain Sue G. Austin, Past Matron; and Installing In-stalling Organist Betty Jo Hayes, the new slate of officers was formally charged with their responsibilities. re-sponsibilities.
