Show Services Held Wednesday for Anna E. Jones Anna t,vans juntis passed away Nov. 19, at the age of 59 in the Mesa Memorial Hospital at Grand Jet., Colo. Cause of death was a severe stroke-which she suffered suffer-ed on Nov. 10th. Anna was born atMon-ticello, atMon-ticello, Utah, Dec. 10, 1912 to Thomas H. and . Mary C. Evans. She attended at-tended school at Monti -cello and graudated as an honor student from Monticello High School. She was an active member mem-ber of the LDS Church. Anna married Clifford Lyman of Blanding and they made their home in Monticello, Utah. He passed away May 23, 1943 leaving one son, Donald Alton Lyman. On October 11, 1952, Anna married Glen W. Jones in Gallup, N.Mex. and they moved to Car-bondale, Car-bondale, Colo, where they have lived since. Mr. Glen W. Jones is the District Engineer for the State Road Commission Commis-sion in Southwestern Colorado. Co-lorado. Anna E. Jones is survived sur-vived by her husband, Glen W. Jones of Car-bondale, Car-bondale, one son Donald Alton Lyman of Grand Junction, Colorado, a brother Donald C. Evans and two sisters Arvilla E. Warren and Edna Martin of Monticello, a sister, Madolyn Knight, of Moab, Utah; one stepson, step-son, three step-daughters and eleven grandchildren. grand-children. Funeral services for Anna E. Jones were held at Glenwood Springs LDS Ward Chapelat2:00 p.m. November 22, 1972. Burial was in the Glenwood Glen-wood Springs cemetery. |
