Development of a special package program was funded in part by the Four Corners ROY'S FIRST JET RIDE Roy Turner returned recently recent-ly from a five-week trip across the country, visiting relatives and friends. He had his first jet plane ride, going to Quincy, Illinois to see relatives. He was there a month, and went on to Eldorado, Kansas to see former Moabites, Elwood and Maxine Moore for a few days. He traveled on to Omaha, Nebraska to see other friends before returning to Moab. This was his first trip to see family in the east since 1945. Regional Commission. Packages available through September 25, 1976 range from two to ten days, with a number of embarkation points including Page, Arizona, Grand Junction, Colorado and Moab, Utah. 'The trips---partically oar-powered oar-powered and partially motorizedallow motoriz-edallow participants to swim, hike, fish and explore such landmarks as the Grand Canyon and Cataract and Westwater canyons on the Colorado River and Desolation Grey Canyon on the Green River. Visits to Indian caves and petroglyphs, campfire activities and hearty meals prepared by river guides are among other trip highlights. The Four Most West also offers four packages which combine two exciting river expeditions, at prices ranging from $292.
